2021 MTV Video Music Awards: Complete List Of Nominees

The nominees for the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards have been released and it is a tough nomination this year with many superstars gunning for top awards. The award show will be held on the 12th of September,2021. Justin Bieber leads the nominations with seven followed by Megan Thee Stallion with six. Billie Eilish, BTS, Doja Cat, Drake, Giveon, Lil Nas X, and Olivia Rodrigo trail closely behind with five nominations.

MTV VMAs 2018Wizkid has been nominated for an MTV VMA in the categories of ‘Best Cinematography’ and ‘Best R&B’ for his feature on Beyonce‘s “Brown Skin Girl.” Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale was also nominated for ‘Best Art Direction for his appearance in Beyoncé’s “Already.”

Starboy WizkidThe annual event will be back and in-person amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. According to a statement from the network,  MTV is working alongside the Barclays Center where the event will be held to stay as safe as possible with the ever-changing health guidelines.
