Born April 28 April 1963, Oby Ezekwesili is a chartered accountant and the former minister of solid minerals, a 2018 nominee for the Nobel Peace Prize for her work in transparency in the extractive sector, she became the Vice President of World bank(African division) in 2007. 
In 2014 she used the Bring Back Our Girls Advocacy group to draw the World’s attention to the Chibok girls who were abducted by Boko Haram. She is running under the banner of Allied Congress Party of Nigeria to use the knowledge gained from her years of experience for the betterment of the country.
