2019 Elections: Meet The Adamawa Governorship Candidates

This 2019 Adamawa governorship election, women can be seen coming up to take leadership roles, as four of the governorship candidates are women ready to change the face of the country. 
Lami Musa: This retired nurse is running for the seat of the Governor of Adamawa State Under the platform of the People’s Party of Nigeria (PPN),
Na’ama Bulama: Being one of the ladies running for the seat of the Governor of Adamawa State under the platform of the Progressive People’s Alliance (PPA),
Rukayya Audu: She is the youngest female aspirant and although she is still in the university, she is running for the governorship seat under the banner of the Action People’s Party (APP)
Elizabeth Isa: she is a clergyman and a self-employed lady and is running under the banner of the  Change Advocacy Party (CAP).
Muhammed Bindow: The incumbent governor of Adamawa state is running for a second term under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC)
Umaru Fintiri: This two-time acting governor of Adamawa State is running under the banner of the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP).
Abdul-Azeez Nyako: He is an incumbent senator in Adamawa state and is running for the seat of the governor under the ADC. Photo Credit: Getty
