New report confirms that the National Caucus of the All Progressive Party will hold an emergency meeting in Abuja to discuss prevailing national issues. This is coming after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) postponed presidential election which was earlier scheduled for Feb. 16 Presidential. 
The APC caucus is chaired by President Buhari and has the Vice President and all the party’s former governors as members. Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, the INEC chairman had announced that the elections had been postponed just a few hours to the commencement of the presidential and National Assembly elections. the elections will now be held on Feb. 23, while the Governorship and State House of Assembly elections come up on March 9. Yakubu gave logistics problems as issues that prompted the postponement.  Photo Credit: Getty
