2018 World Cup: We Will Fight Again! – Victor Moses

Victor Moses has assured supporters they are ready to fight again.

Oghenekaro Etebo’s own goal and a penalty converted by Luka Modric gave Croatia a 2-0 win over Nigeria in their group D opener at Kaliningrad stadium on Saturday. Moses said: “Disappointed with the result (against Croatia), but we win together and lose together and will dust ourselves down and be ready to fight again.”

Nigeria is the most favorited African team to have positive outings at this summer’s World Cup in Russia, following their remarkable feat during the qualifiers. Many Nigerians including Super Eagles legends – Jay Jay Okocha and Julius Aghahowa believe the team could have done better, but the players were assigned in the wrong positions, a problem Gernot Rohr must fix before their next group stage games. Nigeria play Iceland in Volgograd on June 22, while Croatia take on Argentina in Nizhny Novgorod a day before.
