160 Nigerians Evacuated From US Arrive At Abuja Airport

Earlier today, Sunday morning 10th of May, 2020 the Minister of Foreign Affairs Geoffrey Onyeama, announced the first batch of the evacuation of 160 Nigerians from the United States back to Nigeria due to the Coronavirus pandemic and they arrived in Abuja 11:05 am. 160 Nigerians Evacuated From The U.S Arrive At Abuja Airport

The United States returnees arrived at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja, aboard the Ethiopian Airline Boeing 787 aircraft under the special flight arrangements by the FG.

While confirming the arrival of the returnees, the Minister also said the returnees would be placed in quarantine for 14 days in Abuja, they would be tested on arrival and would be tested after staying in quarantine for 14 days before they would be let go for their respective destinations across the country.

Recall that on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, 256 Nigerians were evacuated from the United Arab Emirates.
