12-year-old American Author Becomes The Youngest Person To Enter Forbes Under-30 List

Popular 12-year-old American author, Marley Dias, became the youngest person to enter the Forbes 30 under 30 list.
Marley has always been outspoken and passionate about what she believes in, which is equality of the sexes and races. She launched a campaign called #1000BlackGirlBooks in 2015, when she was in sixth grade. The campaign was aimed at collecting and donating 1,000 books that feature black girls as the main character.
In 2016, Marley was paid $6500 to be the keynote speaker at a school event. Still last year, she succeeded in collecting 7,000 books in which the main character was a black girl to give to charity.
