10 Early Symptoms Of Pregnancy During The First Trimester

Pregnancy symptoms vary from different people, some tend to start< seeing symptoms almost immediately while some won’t even notice anything until they are about one or two months gone, but notwithstanding there are still some pregnancy symptoms that can’t be avoided if you pay attention you might be able to decipher right on time. Below are some of the early symptoms you should look out for.

  1. Having tender or swollen breast: In the early stages of your pregnancy, your breasts may likely be the ones to give you the first hint because they become tender, sore, heavier and fuller between due to Hormonal changes. 
  2. Excessive food cravings: Another early indicator of pregnancy is when you start turning up your nose to meals you actually love or prefer eating and suddenly develop cravings for meals you shouldn’t be eating naturally.  
  3. Slight Headaches: Early symptoms also include mild headaches due to the increase in blood circulation caused by hormonal changes.  
  4. Fatigue and Tiredness: Fatigue accompanied by tiredness comes quite frequently during the early pregnancy days and its often caused by the increased level of progesterone hormones that drains the energy.   
  5. Increased Saliva Production: This happens due to excessive vomiting, nausea, food aversion, and constipation.
  6. Nausea With Or Without Vomiting: Nausea usually regarded to as morning sickness can happen at any time of the day, it empties a pregnant woman’s stomach slowly. Perceiving strong odors such as perfume, food, cigarette and so on also tends to bring about nausea feelings in a pregnant woman.
  7. An excruciating backache: It is very normal to have backpains in pregnancy especially during the early stages, due to the ligaments of your body stretching out to prepare you for labour, this can put a strain on the lower back which apparently leads to a backache.       
  8. Frequent Visits To The Toilet: Visiting the toilet frequently is a major indicator of a pregnancy because the womb is located below the pelvis so it usually puts pressure on the bladder. 
  9. Constipation: Hormone progesterone is the major cause of constipation in a pregnant woman, and in most cases, worry, anxiety and minimal physical exercise can also cause constipation.                               
  10. Spotting and Light Period: Spotting and Light periods is the vaginal bleeding that happens during pregnancy, it is usually lighter than normal periods, it is either dark brown or pinkish in color. There is usually no cause for alarm, even if you experience cramps.
