Today, we will be looking at 10 of those beauty items. – cleansers – but before we go ahead, note these tips necessary for your beauty:
1. It is important to note that when drying your face/skin after applying or washing off face masks and cleansers, you should not scrub it but pat dry.
2. Ensure that you use clean and soft towels in drying the face do as not to get bacteria and germs on the face just cleansed. After cleansing, the pores are usually opened to allow whatever you apply after sink in, so imagine using a dirty towel, you will be locking in more germs on the skin.
3. Whenever you are using Apple Cider Vinegar as a beauty item, it should always be diluted and never be applied directly to skin.Now, the 10 cleansers you can make from the comfort of your home
1. Apple Cider Vinegar ACV Cleanser:  ACV is a long time beauty ingredient and is known for its diverse usage (culinary, wounds treatment and more). A key ingredient is the malic acid, which is a good exfoliator for the skin. To make a natural toner, simply mix 1 part apple cider vinegar with 2 parts water, and shake well. Apply to a clean face with a cotton ball or pad. Once your skin dries, apply your usual daily moisturizer.
Note that there are different types of vinegar – apple cider is the most recommended one for beauty purposes.2. Coconut Oil Cleanser: the unique combination of natural fats in coconut oil makes it a very useful skin treatment item. It helps to fight acne, hydrating the skin and serves as an antimicrobial agent which stops the growth of and kills microorganisms on the skin, without stripping the skin off its natural oils. It is an effective moisturizer and one of the most sought and recommended item for skin/dermatological care. All you need to make a coconut oil cleanser is simply the coconut oil. Gently massage onto your skin for about 30 seconds, then clean the skin with a warm towel to open up your pores. Wait for 15 to 30 seconds then remove the oil by patting with a washcloth. If you have acne-prone skin, however, steer clear of coconut oil unless you know that your face can tolerate it.3. Olive Oil Cleanser: Olive oil is a great natural moisturizer that nourishes and softens the skin. The antioxidants and good fats present in it also helps to reduce free radicals and to relieve irritated or sunburned skin. To make this cleanser, mix one egg yolk, 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 tablespoon of olive oil and a few drops of lemon juice together to have a smooth blend. Store in a cool place and apply regularly to clean skin/face for 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing off.4. Yogurt Cleanser: Yogurt is a perfect natural face cleanser and it helps to rejuvenate and soften the skin. The Protein and lactic acid present in the yogurt work together to detoxify the skin. Lactic removes dead cells, thereby exfoliating the skin and protein helps tighten pores, reduce the appearance of fine lines and hydrate the skin. To make, mix 2 tablespoons of plain, full-fat yogurt with 1 to 2 teaspoons honey. You may add in a drops of lemon juice or a few blueberries. You may cleanser in a cool place or better still, prepare the cleanser each time you want to use. Apply to the skin and leave for about 10 to 15 minutes before washing off with a soft, damp and neat towel.

On the other hand, a gentle massage of a thin layer of plain yogurt onto a clean skin with your fingertips will help loosen any dirt or makeup on the face/skin. Leave the yogurt on for 20 minutes, then wash off with warm water.5. Honey and Lemon Cleanser: these two super ingredients team up to give a  a natural moisturizing, perfect soothing, cleaning and antiseptic effects to your skin. Honey is naturally antibacterial and full of antioxidants, which have been shown to prevent acne and slow down the skin’s aging process. It also provides a complexion boost. Lemon juice, on the other hand, as you know is one of the most recommended item for skin care, just like honey as it contains vitamin C, which is a great antioxidant, and has antimicrobial and astringent properties. To make this combo cleanser, mix 1 tbsp of organic honey with the juice from half a lemon. Apply on the face, neck and other parts of the skin (avoiding coming in contact with the eyes) for about 20 minutes before washing off with warm water and then cold water, and pat dry.

Grape Cleanser: grapes are better tools in shielding the skin cells from harmful UV radiation, and it contains vitamin C, which forms collagen, the protein that improves skin elasticity and prevents aging and wrinkles. With this and many more benefits, you may consider making for yourself a very fine Grape cleanser. Simply mix egg white (from 1 egg) with 6 or 7 grapes and blend thoroughly, crushing the seeds which contain grape seed oil. Once the mixture becomes bubbly (bringing out foam), apply with a facial brush on the face, neck and other parts of the skin in upward strokes. Leave on for 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with warm water and follow up with moisturizer.
7. Avocado Oil Cleanser: avocado oil is an excellent source of enrichment for dry, damaged, and chapped skin. It is very rich in fatty acids and polyphenols, which nourish the skin and help fight aging. You do not need too much of ingredients, simply put some avocado oil in your hand and rub your hands together to warm the oil. Apply same to cover your face and skin in a circular motion for about 30 seconds. Hold a warm washcloth over your oil-covered face for a few minutes to open the pores, then gently wash away using warm water.
8. Dry Yeast Cleanser: yeast is a hydrating, collagen-producing, anti-aging, and brightening agent which protects the skin from environmental damage, strengthens the skin structure, and repair damaged skin cells. Many expensive skin products contain yeast and fortunately, this is a chance to produce home-made without spending so much. Just dissolve 1 tablespoon dry yeast in 2 tablespoons warm milk, then add 1 teaspoon honey. Mix together till smooth and pat the mixture on your face, avoiding contact with your eyes. Allow this to stay on the face for 10 to 15 minutes, then rinse with warm water, and pat dry the skin.
9. Mayonnaise: Mayonnaise is one of the least things you expect to be on this list, I’m certain and while it seems strange, the book Extraordinary Uses for Ordinary Things by the Reader’s Digest editors recommends that it works well, especially on very dry skin. Further research shows that mayonnaise is a very good nourishment for the face and it is so funny how we’ve been sleeping on this ingredient sitting in one corner in the kitchen. Gently spread mayonnaise over your face/skin and leave on for about 20 minutes. Then wipe it off and rinse with cool water and repeat regularly for smooth skin. For black spots, mix mayonnaise, honey and lemon together and apply on the skin too. The trio possess skin lightening properties which make it one of the choicest options for removing dark spots.
10. Almond Mayonnaise Cleanser: here is another cleanser with mayonnaise. This requires more than two ingredients though, but all of them are just simple items in your home. Simply grind 1/4 cup of whole, natural almonds in a blender and mix with 1/8 teaspoon mayonnaise until the consistency of a scrub is achieved. Place aside then mix 1 teaspoon red wine or cider vinegar with 1/2 cup water in another bowl. To apply, rinse the face/skin with the diluted vinegar/red wine and gently and thoroughly massage the almond-mayo cleanser on your skin. Leave on for 10 minutes and rinse with warm water, then pat dry.
